Caterpillar Processia

Caterpillar Processia never becomes a butterfly.

Centuries ago when the insects were much larger than now,
were the gnomes, trolls, goblins and elves sometimes on the run from those big insects.
During such flight laid a goblincouple their baby in a doll of a butterfly.
So that their baby was safe, but have they survived the flight??
We will never know, because the baby sit in the doll forever.
The caterpillar Processia has never become a butterfly and will always be a caterpillar.

But once a year gets Processia totally off balance.
The segments are separated and then change into goblins.
All day they dance, sing and frolic merrily through the forest.
24 hours long and then again they are a segment and the caterpillar is back in balance.


The caterpillar is made of formo clay.
The loose segments / goblins are made of premix clay and 4 inch long.
Creation is a total of 12 inch wide, 12 inch long and 7 inch high.
